The witch was clearly amused, its little mouth gaping wide at the human that suddenly appeared under the ghost.

“Charlotte says,’So Ghost is Human! Charlotte did not know. Charlotte is Charlotte, hello human.’”

Asbel was amused to, but for different reasons. He didn’t know why he called the creature a ghost; it was obviously not human, so he went with the trend!

“It’s fine! I was trying to.. give off that vibe, actually.”

He laughed nervously and then tilted his head underneath the white sheet, looking at Charlotte skeptically. 

“B-but.. I don’t know what Charlotte is.”
